Local gooseberries hand-picked are then combined with just a little sugar and slow cooked to make this tart berry and jam.  A special treat for breakfast any day.

Contains: Gooseberries, sugar, pectin, citric acid.

    I've tried other brands of gooseberry jam. None can compare to the 'Down Home' taste, texture and flavor.

    I used to eat Gooseberrys, they were bitter but had good flavor. This jam has that flavor and isn't bitter at all. Love it

    Perfectly tart, just the way I like it. Good on toast, angel food cake, and stirred into plain yogurt—I recommend it highly!
