Elderberry a prolific berry that grows all over the West, a favorite for the elk in our area, they often get there before we do. Each fall we so into the mountains hand-pick elderberries, just after the first frost, when they are perfectly ripe. Then we juice them and store the juice to make this wonderful "old time" special, Dorothy's Elderberry Syrup. Described as a unique flavor, sweet but not to sweet! 

Contains: Sugar, elderberry juice, pectin, citric acid.

    Dorothy's Elderberry Syrup is SO tasty. I've been ordering this for years for myself and as gifts. It is my go-to for pancakes (especially good on Dorothy's Sawtooth Sourdough Pancakes. I always keep some on hand and everyone loves the wonderful Elderberry flavor.
