This Wild Rice Leftover Turkey Soup Mix is wonderful and easy to make. The flavors are reminiscent of what Grandma used to make...And don't even get me started about how much better it tastes the next day. One package makes a lot of soup, so bring your appetite.
We had left over turkey from Thanksgiving. I am always looking for creative ways to use this that my family will enjoy. This soup was a hit! The only changes I made, was to add small diced half onion, because we like onion, and the carrot chunks at the beginning when boiling the stock and water, then followed the rest of the directions exactly. We have had left over soup and it tastes great heated up later as well. I will be buying more of this to use with chicken as well! Delicious!
